Shaped by an extraordinary past, she grew up during the Lebanese war with three older brothers. She left Lebanon after the death of her father spending her early years studying interior architecture and furniture design in Paris and Milan before returning to Beirut to open a gallery for Italian furniture design.

Faced with a seminal choice between expanding her gallery on the one hand and raising a family, she chose the greatest career of all: motherhood. During this time she co-owned a top Italian restaurant and delicatessen, La Posta, with her partner, in the heart of Beirut’s downtown area.

She continued studying alongside and also opened an Aquatic Association in Lebanon, affiliated to the French Aquatic Federation. The centre focussed on water sports activities for babies as well as using the healing power of water for rehabilitation therapy. Through this work she gained a greater awareness and respect for the limitless power of the brain in overcoming obstacles. This inspired her transition to coaching and creative problem solving.

Just as she had set up her practice it all fell apart after an unexpected and small foot surgery that went wrong and left her physically incapacitated. This distressing turn of events forced a deep introspection that culminated in new opportunities yet again, among them writing an intimate book for middle eastern women, dedicated to her beautiful daughters. Then book was published in Paris in 2019. The impact of the book led to her coaching many more women and starting a youtube channel.

Looking for new ways to express herself in public she registered a stand-up comedy school where she ran masterclasses in collaboration with L’école du ‘One-man-show” in France, creating a new platform for expression.

With the political instability and banking crisis in Lebanon she was obliged to leave to survive yet again. Switzerland provided the next opportunity which brought her to Dubai where today she promotes ( dedicates ) herself (to) as a professional motivational speaker and consultant in creative problem solving based on applied neuroscience.

Sheryn is a certified licensed instructor in mind-mapping, memory, lateral thinking and problem solving (Tony Buzan) through applied neuroscience ( Neuro-Leadership Institute London). Her mission being to empower especially women to better position themselves to break through the proverbial glass ceiling.
